Sensei Shaun Harris 4th Dan
Shaun started training in 1981with Bujinkai Karate, at the Mayflower Sports Centre, under Shihan John Smith.
In 1982 Shaun changed clubs and started training with Shihan Bob Rowe at the Rendle Street and Devonport Dojo's.
Shaun entered his first tournament in 1982 and for the following 10 years, Shaun competed in both Kumite and Kata tournaments acheiving succes at Club, County and Regional events.
Shaun was awarded 1st Dan in 1985, in 1988 Shaun opened his first Dojo.
Shaun was awarded 2nd Dan in 1991, he remained with Bujinkai Karate untill 1995.
Shaun left Bujinkai and joined the Gôdôryu Karate Association when it was formed in 1995.
Sensei Harris was awarded 3rd Dan in 2000.
In 2007 Sensei Harris was awarded 4th Dan, he is a well respected member of the Karate world and a Senior member of the
Gôdôryu Karate Association, Sensei Harris currently teaches with Sensei House at the Plympton Karate club.
Sensei Harris is a qualified coach and regularly attends Association Courses and gradings.
Sensei Harris is proficient in Japanese Sword.
