Sensei Neil Davidson 5th Dan


Neil began training in 1984 with Bujinkai Karate under Shihan Bob Rowe.

He was awarded 1st Dan in 1987.

During the period 1987-1995 he was a member of the Bujinkai Great Britain Karate Squad and competed in Kumite events at National and International level. Neil was coached at the time by Shihan John Smith, Shihan Paul Smith, Shihan Bob Rowe. He was placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd at most weight categories. He was awarded 2nd Dan in this period.

He joined the Gôdôryu Karate Association when it was formed in 1995. Sensei Davidson was also awarded 3rd Dan in this year.

Sensei Davidson continued to compete in numerous National tournaments, including the UKASKO Welsh  and Cornish Kumite Championships, where he was successful in both individual and team events.

Sensei Davidson has continued to expand his martial arts knowledge, training in Ju Jitsu under Sensei Danny Damerall and he was awarded 1st Dan in 2009. 

Sensei Davidson is a qualified Coach and EKC judge. He continues to play an active role as a senior Instructor in the Gôdôryu Karate Association.
Sensei Davidson was awarded 5th Dan in 2008.
