Sensei Mark Boucher 4th Dan


Mark started his Karate training in 1990 in Yeovil, he tried various different karate styles before joining Gôdôryu Karate in 1995. Mark was awarded his 1st Dan grade in 1999.

In 2004 when Mark acheived 3rd Dan, he opened the Gôdôryu Karate club at Stanchester school.

Sensei Boucher has continued to advance his karate skills and competance and was awarded his 4th Dan in 2009.
He has continued to play an active and important role in the Gôdôryu Karate Association, including organising inter club tournaments. The Stanchester club is growing year on year and has gained a reputation as one of the formost karate clubs in the Yeovil area.

Sensei Boucher has furthered his training within the association to include weapons training, primarily japanese Sword.

Sensei Boucher has been a member of the Gôdôryu Karate Association squad team and has competed successfully in both kumite and Kata.
