Sensei Glyn Coley 5th Dan
Glyn started with Bujinkai Karate in 1979 and trained under Shihan John Smith, Shihan Paul Smith, Shihan Bob Rowe as well as Sensei’s David Maddison and Colin Garnett.
He was awarded 1st Dan Black Belt in 1982.
Glyn has competed at high level in both junior and senior age groups and has won titles in both Kumite and kata.
These include:
Kumite: Bujinkai National Championships, CEKO National Championships, Godoryu National Championships and the BKF British Championships.
Kata:
Bujinkai National Championships, Godoryu National Championships, Devon V Cornwall Champion, UKASKO National Championships
Sensei Coley was a member of the Bujinkai National elite squad for 7 years.
He followed Shihan’s Paul Smith and Bob Rowe to the Gôdôryu Karate Association in 1997.
Sensei Coley is the Instructor of Southampton Gôdôryu Karate Club.
He has trained under nationally recognised coaches such as Ticky Donovan, Terry Pottage and Roy Stanhope and has over 30 years of karate experience.
Awarded 5th Dan Black belt in 2008.
