Welcome to the Gôdôryu Karate Home Page.

Gôdôryu means combination style, it takes the power and strength of Shotokan karate and the speed and mobility of Wado Ryu. The combination of the two styles forms a new style that has all of the qualities of these styles.

Gôdôryu also uses many aspects of other martial arts styles such as Aikido and Jujitsu.

Gôdôryu Karate respects the disciplines found in traditional Karate styles.

We promote a safe Dojo for all practitioners of martial arts and actively encourage equality.

All Instructors are registered with FEKO, they are all CRB checked, have recognised First Aid and coaching qualifications.

Our syllabus is laid out to give all students set goals and standards, which when met will enable progression from beginner to Dan grades.
